Dr. Dong Wang, Plastic Surgeon

As a leading figure in the domestic fat grafting specialty, I focus on facial and body sculpting and repair of failed procedures. I am a pioneer in the concept of body sculpting, having proposed the "New School of Huayan Beauty" aesthetic philosophy and the "Three-Line Nine-Point" aesthetic design method. My contributions include two national invention patents and nine utility model patents, along with the achievement of “ten years without accidents” in surgical procedures.

I hold several prestigious positions, including Executive Committee Member of the Fat Medicine Branch of the Chinese Society of Plastic Surgery, Executive Committee Member of the Fat Specialty Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, and Executive Director of the Fat Group of the Chinese Medical Association. I am also a guest professor at Shanxi Datong University Medical College.

Throughout my career, I have introduced several innovative techniques and concepts, such as "Connecting Liposuction" to create seamless transitions in treated areas, and the "Fat Grafting 1.0" technique, which emphasizes reduction as a foundation for successful surgeries. My work in shaping the aesthetic standards in China has led to the establishment of "Xisi Bomei" and further advancements, including the introduction of the "Fat Grafting 2.0" and "3.0" techniques, enhancing surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Academic Contributions in Fat Grafting

I have made significant contributions to the field of fat grafting through various academic publications and innovations. My research has been featured in the "Chinese Journal of Aesthetic Medicine," with notable papers including "Clinical Effects of Autologous Fat Grafting for Correcting Asymmetric Mandibular Deformities" and "Clinical Effects of Autologous Fat Grafting Combined with Plasma Fiber Lipolysis for Facial Contouring." Additionally, I have published SCI papers in the U.S. journal "Clinics in Plastic Surgery," including "Zygomatic Arch Liposuction: A New Concept for Improving Mid-Facial Contours" and "Improving Facial Contours in Asians with Fat Grafting Combined with Liposuction." I also co-authored the book "Aesthetic Surgery" and translated the 2014 edition of "Coleman Fat Injection: From Filling to Regeneration."
